FastNet99 e' una utility freeware che velocizza la navigazione Internet migliorando la ricerca degli indirizzi TCP/IP relativi ai siti desiderati. Gestisce una tabella URL-indirizzi IP locale (il file Hosts, situato nella directory d'installazione di Windows), che viene utilizzata dal browser per la navigazione, prima di ricercare l'indirizzo IP presso il Provider Internet. Poiche' la ricerca degli indirizzi IP avviene in ogni tipo di navigazione, la gestione di e-mail, FTP, gopher, IRC saranno tutte velocizzate. Fornisce una serie di network utility quali DNS Lookup, Ping, TraceRoute, WhoIs, Finger, Time Synchronizer, Keep Alive, Net Launcher, PopUp Killer, E-mail Checker, Port Scanner... (autore italiano)

HostsMerge is another program that merges entries of two different Hosts files.
On the main window, you can type in the input and the output Hosts files.

On the Copy window you can:

-    Select in the left listbox your preferred servers and copy its to the right listbox pressing the Copy button.
-    Copy all servers from the input to the output listbox pressing the Copy all button.
